GAUHAR is a two-piece occasion set in ivory silk organza, patterned throughout with gold leaf butis: a peplum kurta worked in mirror, pearl and sequin detail over a wide sharara finished in lace. Soft, luminous and quietly festive.
Design Details: A square neckline with double tie-up shoulder straps finished in bead ends. A scalloped border of mirror stars, each ringed in pearls, frames the yoke and the peplum hem, while the yoke panel carries gold zari leaf vines with pearl lines and rows of sequins. The gathered peplum falls from the waist, and the sharara flows wide to a layered gota lace band at the hem, with gold butis running through every piece.
Fabric & Feel: Crisp silk organza with a soft, structured sheen, patterned throughout with woven gold leaf butis.
Fit: A fitted bodice with a flared peplum over a wide, flowing sharara. Model is 5'6" and wears size S.
Styling: Add pearl chandbali earrings and gold heels for daytime weddings and festive gatherings.
Care: Dry clean only. Store in a breathable cloth bag away from direct sunlight.
